THE JORT SHORTZ PATTERN. This is my first available pattern for warmer weather, and of my favorite patterns yet. These shorts feature a perfectly baggy fit, roomy front and back pockets, belt loops, and a yolk for that classic Jorts look. I poured my heart and soul into this pattern, and I know you will love it as much as I do. MATERIALS NECESSARY:
Roughly 2 yards of fabric
5-8in zipper for the fly
1 button
SIZING:
This pattern can be sewn with a 30in waist opening all the way to a 40in waist opening(we go over sizing in the video tutorial).
If you are looking for a classic Jorts style, look no further. This pattern took lots of perfecting, and I can guarantee you will be happy with your final product. I also go over how to do the double back pocket, if that is of interest to you.

I bought this pattern on release date and have made 10-15 jorts all different shapes and sizes and have loved all of them. The petter video itself is so understandable, no need to rewind over and over again to understand certain stitches or steps. I fully agree with the upcycle mindset, fast fashion is a jail created by capitalism and creating our own is the only way to counter that trap. I recommend this pattern to anyone interested in sewing some jorts because in my opinion this is the most buttery pattern out now.
