The long awaited DANTS PANCE PATTERN IS HERE! Every pair of DANTS PANCE I have ever created were made with this exact pattern. If you want a more size inclusive pants pattern I would recommend the TRANSFORMER PANCE PATTERN. This pattern includes the main pants panels, pieces for belt loops, back pockets, front pockets, and front fly. Every step from putting the pattern together to sewing your completed garment is shown step by step in my YouTube video tutorial. This took me months to perfect, and many hours to digitize and create the video tutorial. BEYOND excited to share this with the world. These seriously are the only pants I wear.

MATERIALS NECESSARY:
6-8 inch zipper
1 button
Fabric: You might be able to get away with closer to 2.5 yards of fabric, but I would recommend 3 yards to be safe. A queen bedsheet is plenty of fabric for the pants, and as many fancy pockets as you would like.
SIZING:
In its original form It can be sewn from waist size 32-36 by adjusting the darts(shown in video). The length is easily adjustable(also shown in video), but starts at a 34 inch inseam(longg). I made a youtube video on how it can be altered to fit waist sizes 26-32 as well. When sewn at waist size 32, it has 1 inch of ease meaning the waist measures to 33 inches. This is the same for the other sizes(1 inch of ease).

Great, easy-to-follow pattern (when using the YouTube video) for the majority of the construction. How to insert the zipper/fly was not included in the video directions - fortunately, my son was able to find other instructions for the fly on another YouTube video. My son has already made two pair of pants with the pattern and received a lot of compliments. Thank you!

I adored working on these pants !!! The tutorial is really easy to follow and it took me only two days to sew this project ! I’m so proud, this was my first time sewing pants :)
I don’t know if it’s because it’s in English and i’m French so using french sizes for pants but the smaller size was still too big for me and I had to make the darts way bigger. However it was still doable and I love the results ! I also added small details on the back pockets !
Took me 2 days, a lot of swearing at a busted sewing machine, skipping some steps, but we got there in the end
This pattern is amazing and wonderful. The lines actually match up right, and if you go to his youtube he gives an explanation on how to set it up. For free along with the pattern, you get a step by step youtube video on how to setup and sew everything. Truly beautiful.
